This website was created to help teenagers and preteens with celiac disease navigate gluten free life. Our database is made to help people easily find out whether snacks that are not clearly gluten free or not, find an answer! No more searching multiple websites! We’ve done the research for you. In addition, we have created a world of other teens who share their experiences and tips of Celiac life through our blogs.

My name is Alyssa, and I was diagnosed with celiac fourteen years ago in May. Being diagnosed so young has had its ups and downs with adjusting to the “new life” that comes along with celiac disease. Having celiac disease is not just about eating gluten free and staying away from certain foods. In reality, it is so much more and others who are not affected by celiac may not understand how much it can be a daily burden on someone’s life.
I moved to a new school for the sixth grade -  and what a welcome I received. About a week into my new routine, I ate a slice of garlic bread since everyone else was grabbing it at lunch. Apparently, silly little 6th-grade Mira thought that garlic bread was *definitely* Gluten-Free - that’s what the allergen board had said after all. Spoiler Alert: It’s not. The worst part? The garlic bread wasn’t even that good.
Ever since I was about 12, my dad and I would do a challenge every time we went to the airport. Find the best food that will carry you over until you get to your destination. The trick? Find a little bit of everything.
